Is Matias injured or just being given time to adjust and work on his wort rate ??

Also is Wickhzm injured ? Has done fook all at Palarse. Maybe a loan option in Jan ?

Wickham is injured.

If we are within touching distance of promotion then most likely we will bring in a top striker in January.

Just to put things in perspective for fans that thought the Arsenal prices were expensive.

Blunts tickets for the home game against Millwall were 27 quid for a south stand seat

That's a L1 game!!

There must be something about Rhodes that puts perspective buyers off. He scores consistently but still doesn't seem to generate any interest from the Premier League.

That's the thing I have never understood.  Look at his goal record, it's better than anyone in the English game, yet he attracts no interest at all.  Maybe it's the fact that Blackburn put a 14m price tag on him but even that should be low enough for all the premier teams.  Will be interesting to see if a struggling prem team comes in for him in January.

£14m is too much for a player unproven at PL level so no-one wants to take a chance on him. If he were available at £5m then he would have been snapped up.

Two excellent feet, can operate on either wing or in the number 10 position, plays some fantastic balls into the box and can score for fun  Thumb up

Unless Blackburn start achieving soon, that price tag on Rhodes head will be dropping the closer he gets to the end of his contract.

We should keep an eye on his situation while simultaneously searching for equal or better.
