RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - madsteve - 25-10-2015 (24-10-2015, 23:54)Towinjustonce Wrote: Why Alan Judge Maddix ? Is he a winger or a number 10 ? I know he scores some good goals from midfield and our midfield has dried up on that front of late. Wickham is injured. If we are within touching distance of promotion then most likely we will bring in a top striker in January. RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - Statesideowl - 25-10-2015 Just to put things in perspective for fans that thought the Arsenal prices were expensive. Blunts tickets for the home game against Millwall were 27 quid for a south stand seat That's a L1 game!! RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - consilio - 25-10-2015 There must be something about Rhodes that puts perspective buyers off. He scores consistently but still doesn't seem to generate any interest from the Premier League. RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - St Charles Owl - 25-10-2015 (25-10-2015, 07:42)consilio Wrote: There must be something about Rhodes that puts perspective buyers off. He scores consistently but still doesn't seem to generate any interest from the Premier League. That's the thing I have never understood. Look at his goal record, it's better than anyone in the English game, yet he attracts no interest at all. Maybe it's the fact that Blackburn put a 14m price tag on him but even that should be low enough for all the premier teams. Will be interesting to see if a struggling prem team comes in for him in January. RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - madsteve - 25-10-2015 £14m is too much for a player unproven at PL level so no-one wants to take a chance on him. If he were available at £5m then he would have been snapped up. RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - Maddix - 25-10-2015 (24-10-2015, 23:54)Towinjustonce Wrote: Why Alan Judge Maddix ? Is he a winger or a number 10 ? Two excellent feet, can operate on either wing or in the number 10 position, plays some fantastic balls into the box and can score for fun RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - Statesideowl - 25-10-2015 Unless Blackburn start achieving soon, that price tag on Rhodes head will be dropping the closer he gets to the end of his contract. We should keep an eye on his situation while simultaneously searching for equal or better. RE: Money, money, money!! The 2015-16 Push to the Premier League - Act 1: Summer 2015 - OvalOwl - 27-10-2015 Anybody watch the draw for the First Round of the FA Cup earlier? Held at a grass roots club in Bradford; one of the guests a certain Deon Burton, now playing for Worcester City. Draw comes out and late on the Blunts are at home to... Worcester City.
