RE: 2014 Transfer Window: (Jan 10) Demba Ba & Troy Deeney - Bournemouth Baggie - 11-01-2015 Tony Pulis saying strikers not leaving and in fact looking to strengthen RE: 2014 Transfer Window: (Jan 11) Another day another striker - Stairs - 11-01-2015 It's getting insane now. If you are a striker and slightly out of preference at a club then the journalists are cheaply linking you to West Brom. Where there is smoke there is fire - one of these might be true........... RE: 2014 Transfer Window: (Jan 10) Demba Ba & Troy Deeney - betterthanbaird - 11-01-2015 I'd much rather have Ba than Vardy, he'll score more and offers more in the role he'd be playing. Vardy has only scored once this season but he'll make a lot of runs. Ba is a better player and would be a massive coup. Us and Palace are linked with Kyle Naughton in the mirror. Walters is mentioned somewhere but it won't happen. RE: 2014 Transfer Window: (Jan 11) Another day another striker - Lets-talk-about-Teix - 11-01-2015 http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/watfordfc/watfordfcnews/11716169._/? Deeney again. Hope we are not overpaying for him if so. RE: 2014 Transfer Window: (Jan 11) Another day another striker - tidy - 11-01-2015 Whatever we do then I hope it is in the next week. Berahino needs assistance and quick. We have some vital games coming up and I have given up hope that Ideye or Vic are actually any use to us at all and with regard to Vic then that's 2 games on the trot he has played so must be due some kind of 'pull' or 'tear' to put him out of the next 5. If the Hull game was any kind of indicator then we need some reinforcements ASAP. In fact, play like we did against Hull and the Blues game could be embarrassing. RE: 2014 Transfer Window: (Jan 11) Another day another striker - Stairs - 11-01-2015 Victor now linked with a move out of the club (personally happy with that). As said, we are linked with everyone! RE: 2014 Transfer Window: (Jan 11) Another day another striker - DanTheSmethwickMan - 11-01-2015 Vardy? Really? Oh dear RE: 2014 Transfer Window: (Jan 11) Another day another striker - betterthanbaird - 11-01-2015 (11-01-2015, 16:46)Salopbaggie Wrote:(11-01-2015, 15:25)betterthanbaird Wrote: I'd much rather have Ba than Vardy, he'll score more and offers more in the role he'd be playing. Ba is a better player and would be a massive coup.I thought he had 9 goals from 20 appearances this season and has over the past three season got a slightly better than 1 goal every 2 game ratio albeit in the Championship, His championship record is good but this season he has scored one aka as many as Chris Wood. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/transfer-news-live-gossip-rumours-4958089 12:12 we're considering a 2m bid for full-back Lewis Dunk of Brighton. I'd rather keep Anichebe but if we're bringing in a good replacement and we get a decent fee, I'd get over it. RE: 2014 Transfer Window: (Jan 11) Another two strikers - Stairs - 11-01-2015 Now Lambert! Soon it will be a game of which striker has not been linked!
