Not sure he resigned lol

He tweeted. " Completely shocked by our resignation already"

Seems like the owners expected more than 2 wins from 8 and made the change early..

We were stuck with Gray for what seemed like forever.

That's a bit strange after 2 wins on the trot with the last one a good one away.  He must have been having too many free pies and the concessions are in the red.

I thought that tactically, he did a great job on Saturday & it was his decision to go 351 that got them back in the match.

Bizarre decision by Rotherham to get rid of Evans!!!   Evans is a good manager and is better than Rotherham could expect to replace him with, he has left them way above their normal position and last seasons "success" by avoiding relegation was a great feat for the smallest club in the division!!  Evan won't be out for work long once the sacking machine gets into full gear!!  Maybe Stuart Gray will be interested in this position, after all half the team are his ex-players!! Laugh

As for Brentford, them getting rid of Warburton was the biggest mistake they will probably ever make!!  The new guy was on a hiding to nothing having to follow their performances last season while losing several key players in the process!!

From what RUFC have said today, it sounds like it was Evans that chose to leave as they were "surprised" by the news.

I guess Evans thinks that two promotions, keeping them up & currently out of the relegation places, proves his worth so he can move on. RUFC will struggle to find someone as good. SG might keep them up & is ideal for a club with no expectations.
