RE: The Owls v Exeter City L1 Match Thread - Imre varadi - 25-04-2023 Went how I thought .. Barnsley where never going to get a semi erection to make our life easier cos let's face it even if they won they'd less chance than us ! And Plymouth pissed in Rovers who we beat with mistakes of the highest calibre away !! Playoffs now I'm not even going to bother going into the permitations of what Saturday could bring even if they both lose and we win 10 nil it's over . Concentrate on not turning up for a nother playoff final because I really do think we will get there ..I'm not worried about the semis this time Moore is good enough to get us a losers medal in the final !!! And that he will because these players still can't win big games when it really matters and that's what you will watch ( not me ) when it happens ! RE: The Owls v Exeter City L1 Match Thread - Statesideowl - 25-04-2023 Probably, wouldn't be surprised at all if he started Windarse and he gets crunched straight away. Play the academy for two games, seriously. Barnsley battered us. Can you imagine if we played Ipswich now? It'd be horrible. Could've and should've had us promoted but now we have to suffer the ignominy of defeat, bottling it yet again in the Playoffs. What a waste of another season. The fans do not deserve this at all. Pigs are going up and getting richer.. we're losing ground every year. RE: The Owls v Exeter City L1 Match Thread - Maddix - 25-04-2023 When I predicted us for 3rd it was with the hope that we'd have an half decent team (based on upgrading last years crap) that were just a little bit behind the auto's but with a fighting chance in the play-offs. How wrong I was And we'll sack DM at the end of October, put Bannanana in charge as player/manager for a couple of months, have an half decent run, implode after Christmas and bring in a proper manager after the January window RE: The Owls v Exeter City L1 Match Thread - Statesideowl - 26-04-2023 It's just exhausting going in circles with this Club and it's lack of ambition or structure. No adults in charge it's run like a drive thru McDonald's where everything is left for the next shift to take care of. What happened to those meetings where DC met the fans regularly to discuss concerns?? Why aren't any of the obvious, glaring issues ever being addressed? 2yrs of this shit now with Moore alone How long is enough? Does anyone believe teams in the Championship or even Plymouth or Ipswich would still have this buffoon as manager after all the bottling and choking? He's just bottled a title and even promotion the second season in a row, after he failed to keep us up. It just blows my mind how we keep settling for this garbage whilst other Clubs will do what's necessary to protect the Club's interests moving forward. His dismissal should be announced today after last night's results and it should be publicly stated as such, that the Club's intent is an ambitious one with no bottling acceptable. Now that so many of us have been proven right by this buffoon whom should have been sacked last season, we're justifiably irate. Not in the "I told you so" way, because none of us are winners when Wednesday are mediocre. It's the frustration of knowing this fool has been luckily coasting on poor performances but grinding out points all season. Putting perfume on the odour is what DM does best. There's nothing we can add about DM that we haven't been over numerous times. Which leads us to DC. The absolute egg this bloke is. He's a successful business man within the realm of real estate. Or whatever it is he really does.. Football however, absolutely clueless. Even after all these years he's still no idea how to run his football Club. It's becoming more clear to me that he is a large part of the root cause issue at the Club. If he's handed responsibility of operations over to his son or another 3rd party, and it's failing. It's his fault. If he's firmly in control of operations, nothing gets done without his say so and it's failing; then it's most definitely his fault. He isn't willing to or able to cut out the cancer wherever it arises or becomes visible. He has proven himself to not be a competent Chairman. The ceaseless poor decision making from the top down. The cooking of the books. The son playing football manager with the Club's future lol We need him to sell up and go because we've actually come full circle with this man and are no better off. we're still stunted, crippled by poor structure and stranded in Division 3. Problem is, the book cooker dissected the club and sold the ground to himself at an inflated valuation which would probably put most buyers off, I'm assuming. We'd need the Tuna man to be willing to walk away possibly taking a loss. Or agree with a potential buyer to scrub moneys owed. Can't see any of that in his character. Which leaves us absolutely floating adrift as a 'big' Club with lofty pipe dreams of promotion. Endless humiliation for the fans which deserve so much better than this.. This manager and chairman (players too) need to be out apologising to the fan's. You see plenty of other Clubs stand up and own it when things aren't acceptable. We keep getting told "We go again" and "support the lads" Moore has utilised the art of neuro linguistic programming on the fans to accept sub standard Football and not gripe about it. I've gotta hand that part to him Joke Club |
