By Matt Law, European Football Editor Filed: Monday, January 4, 2016 at 12:52 UK Last Updated: Monday, January 4, 2016 at 13:23 UK West Bromwich Albion are reportedly interested in signing Colombian midfielder Mateo Cardonafrom Envigado this month. The 20-year-old, who has been dubbed 'the nextJames Rodriguez' in his home country, is also said to be interesting the likes of West Ham United and Stoke City. However, according to the Express & Star, it is West Brom that currently lead the race for the attacker, with Tony Pulis ready to give the green light for a move in the winter transfer window. There is also believed to be interest from abroad in the shape of AS Monaco and Benfica, but it is understood that Cardona is keen on a move to the Premier League. Didn't even TP say we needed a pacey winger? Should also have gone in for Butland a few seasons ago. RE: Jan 4th: WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - WBA-Josh - 05-01-2016 http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/kevin-cardona/profil/spieler/356105 RE: Jan 4th: WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - Dingle-Dingle - 05-01-2016 Aston Villa want to sign Arsenal right-back Mathieu Debuchy, 30, to lead their fight against relegation but West Brom are also interested in the Frenchman. (Sun) Barcelona registered 77 new players, including 28-year-old midfielder Arda Turan and defender Aleix Vidal, 26, after their 14-month transfer embargo ended on Monday. (Metro) As bad as Chelski. DD RE: Jan 4th: WBA January 2016 Transfer Window - devwakey - 05-01-2016 Surely Villa are the worse choice over Albion. New manager not making an impact Destined for relegation Only upside is they will possibly offer higher wages. |
