RE: Labour Leadership Contest - 0762 - 30-10-2020 Yep. I think this is a distraction that the Labour Party can do without. I've said before that disliking Israel's extreme political ideology and suppression of opponents does not render their critics hating all Jews. IMO that deliberate misinterpretation has been a major part of the "political game" that has been played out in this country and, as said previously, I believe this whole media propaganda onslaught is a major victory for the State of Israel which is literally being given a "free rein" on human rights violations and all kindsa shit that has been driven by another RW shitheid/criminal named Netanyahu. RE: Labour Leadership Contest - ritchiebaby - 31-10-2020 I think you'll find that Jeremy will be re-instated after the investigation. The verdict will be that he was foolish in claiming "dramatic exaggeration", but absolved of denying the problem existed. Sir Keir and the Labour Party did the right thing according to the EHRC report and the investigation will be seen to follow the disciplinary process. Problem averted (but some will have long memories). RE: Labour Leadership Contest - hibeejim21 - 31-10-2020 5 points clear of the tories with ipsos/mori. Apparently Labours legal team pointed out that he couldn't be expelled from the party because he hadn't broken any existing laws. He should be trying to unite the party instead of creating more divisions. He seems more interested in the opinion of that Countdown cow than real socialists. RE: Labour Leadership Contest - hibeejim21 - 18-11-2020 More importantly they are going totally against the recommendations of the ECHR report which this was all about in the first place. Meanwhile the tories are getting let off the hook - again. RE: Labour Leadership Contest - hibeejim21 - 19-02-2021 xxxx hell has Starmer crashed and burned today...... That ITV interview was brutal RE: Labour Leadership Contest - 0762 - 19-02-2021 He previously talked about attachment to the Union Jack flag, patriotism and old soldiers with war medals - lost any interest in him after that as there are far more important things to worry about at the mo. RE: Labour Leadership Contest - ritchiebaby - 19-02-2021 I hope I'm wrong but he's fast becoming a "Tory-Lite". I originally thought he might save the Labour Party as a party of government, but less so now. |
