RE: Euro championship prediction league - Imre varadi - 27-06-2024 Slovakia and at Italy and at worst the Netherlands...easy as f@ck Southgate will balls this up though ! RE: Euro championship prediction league - St Charles Owl - 27-06-2024 So we get Slovakia in the last 16 followed by either Switzerland or Italy. The draw has opened up for this team if they can just find some cohesion and form. RE: Euro championship prediction league - Statesideowl - 27-06-2024 The luck of the draw is unbelievable. The other major nations have to do the hard work. Gareth will not only blow a great opportunity he'll make it look difficult. Then hell no doubt blame the press & fans for being negative towards the team and himself. Nothing is more negative than his tactics and selections. All the right players are there at his disposal, he's just incapable of understanding the game in multiple dimensions. Not really luck, certainly not on our behalf. England did what they needed to do and that was win the group, we were always going to be playing a 3rd place team. So its down to the failings of other teams that they all ended up in the other half of the draw, particularly Belgium and France who both should have won their groups if they wanted easier paths. RE: Euro championship prediction league - Statesideowl - 27-06-2024 You might be right, you could even call the failings of other nations' luck in our favour. Either way I don't see Sunday being anything other than a painful grind. RE: Euro championship prediction league - Statesideowl - 28-06-2024 If the clowns scrape past Slovakia it's either Switzerland or Italy in the QF. Romania/Netherlands/Austria/Turkey in the SF Shame we already know how Sidegate operates. RE: Euro championship prediction league - Maddix - 28-06-2024 To alleviate the boredom and frustration I've decided to just tune in for the penalty shoot-out on Sunday RE: Euro championship prediction league - Statesideowl - 28-06-2024 Gareth's already let everyone know we're practicing them. Again, mentally playing for the bore draw grind already. The idea is to win, the focus should be that tearing the opposition up is the only acceptable outcome. The twitchy faced rat is quite unbearable with his statements, he might need checking for worms. RE: Euro championship prediction league - Imre varadi - 28-06-2024 I hate Southgate more than a do rishi rat or starmer! He's that lovable ... RE: Euro championship prediction league - Statesideowl - 29-06-2024 He's such a silly sausage, constant baffling people with nonsensical excuses as to why he can't utilise the abundance of talent at his disposal. Some of the minor nation managers would give an arm or leg to be in Sidegate's position and I'd put money on them being more successful and.competent Now there's excuses flying about on social medias that it's Peps fault.. That Schweinsteiger said Peps tenure at Bayern destroyed German football for a decade with the tippy tappy shit looking for the 'perfect pass' and now his England players are the same.. This doesn't explain the square pegs in round holes or the insistence on six defenders. The negative tactics or the sitting back on single goal leads. We have the opportunity to see how ze Germans cope against the might of Denmark and it's star player that died, was brought back to life and still ran circles around England. |
