RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (31st Aug) - doronron - 01-09-2015 25m 5m upfront and 20 in installments what a joke RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (31st Aug) - SomersetBaggie - 01-09-2015 Latest rumour is that the 4th offer for Saido only had £5M upfront...I am sure JP had to think for a long time!!! Levy is a muppet. RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (31st Aug) - Salopbaggie - 01-09-2015 (01-09-2015, 17:41)betterthanbaird Wrote: My heart rate has actually gone up a bit. Why do you know something we don't??...... or is it just anger at the broken promises, as I would have thought you would have been used to that :-) RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (31st Aug) - Dingle-Dingle - 01-09-2015 Coventry have signed 23-year-old striker Lateef Elford-Alliyu on a four-month deal after a successful trial. DD RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (31st Aug) - devwakey - 01-09-2015 Gutted this is closing at 6.00pm tonight, why not 11.00 like normal? I know nothing extra, and I'm nowhere near as upset as others about the broken promises, I'll do a series of excellent balanced(ish) posts about our window soon. My heart rate issues are because Spurs won't disappear but I don't need to worry if they're offering 5m up front RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (31st Aug) - doronron - 01-09-2015 would you take 25 or let him go for 12 in Jan when we have more time to buy a replacement?? RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (31st Aug) - drewks - 01-09-2015 From Pat Murphy: "West Brom have rejected two more bids today from Tottenham for Saido Berahino, making it four rebuffs in all. "I understand they offered around £5m, with the rest loaded in instalments and incentive payments that West Brom simply wouldn't entertain. There would've been no advantage for West Brom in agreeing to sell such a prized asset so close to the deadline, with so little cash up front." If that IS the case we had no choice but reject it. surely. We would need replacements, who's clubs probably wouldn't have been keen on accepted Green Shield Stamps. Looks like the Spurs Chair is a comedian. (01-09-2015, 17:56)doronron Wrote: would you take 25 or let him go for 12 in Jan when we have more time to buy a replacement?? I can see TP firing Saido up, getting a good 4 months out of him and his price going UP in Jan, not down, cos that's what happens at that time of year Pretty sure that's what'll happen, and he'll go in Jan instead..........IF we've got replacement(s) sorted RE: WBA Summer 2015 Transfer Window (31st Aug) - Salopbaggie - 01-09-2015 If Saido stays I can see JP offering to double or even treble his 14k a week wages just to get him to sign a longer deal. Of course along with a similar promise that he gave him last year to let him go in the summer window next year. It depends on the breakdown of the £25M, some of the incentive payments may not have ever been paid. Hopefully Saido will get his head down and either get a new Albion contract or get a good move in January or next summer. |
