RE: Thread For Anything But Football - Maddix - 22-01-2016

So who's going to replace Finn ?

I think we should give Footitt a game despite what that Wankastrian Atherton was droning on about today. FFS Mike  Doh we've already won  Thumb up Give the lad a game and see if he can play.

Or we could wait until we're f'ucked with injuries and throw him in at the deep end and then drone on about selection policy and how no one is coming through Doh and then tell him he's not good enough  Doh

Face it Mike, Kerrigan won't get a look in ever again  Whistle because he's wank and the best spinner in England lives in Yorkshire  Thumb up

BTW Bairstow is 'Man of the Series' or everybody is short sighted and will give it to Stokes Doh

For those of us living in the land of rounders can you decode that ?

I think the gist of it was 'the Establishment' is biased against Yorkshire !!

RE: Thread For Anything But Football - Maddix - 22-01-2016

I'm not biased at all. The only Yorkshire player I've mentioned is Bairstow Thumb up although I knew his Dad and Ryan Sidebottom's too Confused

RE: Thread For Anything But Football - Jacko The Flopsy Piglet - 22-01-2016

Looks like England's bowlers may have decided they can live with 2 - 1 instead of 3 - 0! Oh, and Chris Woakes appears not to be up to the job of being a Test Match bowler. Looks like they should have played Footitt after all!

RE: Thread For Anything But Football - Maddix - 23-01-2016

Came back well after tea but could have done with another wicket (or two but that's being greedy). If we get them out for less than 420 a 3-0 win is still on Thumb up

On the Woakes issue, he's an handy lad to have in T20's and ODI's but not up to par in the Test arena just yet. Perhaps he needs a run in the team to build his confidence and to make him feel that he deserves his place and is not just a stop gap.

On another note, is anyone else getting the feeling that this is the beginning of the end for James Anderson Huh Can't remember the last time he did a 'Broad' Confused

We rely on Anderson less now. Still feel that he is worth a place in the side but needs a good summer or else it could be the end.
