Without checking, I'd guess that version of House Of The Rising Sun uses the original lyrics, which are from the perspective of an abused wife? The Animals did a great version musically, but the song suffered a lot from them changing it to a male perspective.

Sorry, Ska. I was being sarcastic about the lyrics, It was about the prostitutes in the brothel and their various "trademark styles". Grimms were formed from The Scaffold and The Bonzos and parodied many musical styles from pop to heavy metal to glam rock and so on.
