RE: 2016/17 (Jan 02) WBA January Transfer Window - talkSAFT - 07-01-2017 Craig Gardner's the only English name on Stairs' list. RE: 2016/17 (Jan 07) WBA January Transfer Window - betterthanbaird - 07-01-2017 Galloway is still here and meant to be staying for the rest of the season. Though Robert Snodgrass looks a good punt at around £5 million. RE: 2016/17 (Jan 07) WBA January Transfer Window - HRK - 07-01-2017 I'd also take Snodgrass if only £5 mill. Certainly not more than that figure though. Looks like we'll be doing our business towards the end of the window now at this rate - very little in the way of noteworthy rumours so far... RE: 2016/17 (Jan 07) WBA January Transfer Window - Dingle-Dingle - 08-01-2017 Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion have made enquiries about Everton's Republic of Ireland midfielder James McCarthy, 26. (Mail on Sunday) West Bromwich Albion have made a move for Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini but face competition for the 25-year-old Italy international from Premier League rivals Southampton, Everton and Stoke, and German side Wolfsburg. (Mail on Sunday) DD RE: 2016/17 (Jan 07) WBA January Transfer Window - Dingle-Dingle - 09-01-2017 Leicester City are set to make an improved bid to sign Italy defender Francesco Acerbi, 28, from Sassuolo. (Gazzetta dello Sport - in Italian) West Brom and Sunderland are also interested in Acerbi. (GazzaMercato - in Italian) DD RE: 2016/17 (Jan 07) WBA January Transfer Window - drewks - 09-01-2017 Tom Cleverley linked....could be good? http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/01/09/west-brom-tipped-to-sign-evertons-tom-cleverley-this-month/ RE: 2016/17 (Jan 07) WBA January Transfer Window - HRK - 09-01-2017 I'd be quite happy with Cleverley to be honest - would imagine Fletcher and Evans would help convince him that it's a good move? RE: 2016/17 (Jan 07) WBA January Transfer Window - devwakey - 09-01-2017 please tell me we are not getting excited about Cleverley, absolute no go! If we want to be optimistic and look forward, we need to be matching Evertons team, not taking in their cast offs. Cleverley would not get in our team ahead of anyone in my opinion, no need to go for him. I feel this is more lazy journalism however, any player we are linked with is linked with Everton as well, you'd think we shard the same scouts. |
