The Sun claim that West Brom have identified their top target at left back, with the Baggies allegedly closing in on a deal for Leeds United star Charlie Taylor.

The 23-year-old has starred for Leeds since becoming their first-choice left back in 2015 following Stephen Warnock's move to Derby County, and his performances have seen him attract Premier League interest over the last year.

Leeds' big problem is that Taylor is out of the contract at the end of the season, and having missed the last two games – allegedly through injury – rumours are swirling over Taylor's future.

What a happie Baggie I am to see our rivals from up the coast from where I live losing to a HRK great goal, though the first goal was also great. Hoping now to get in a left back and a stronger mid-field player, and replace Gardner and Ollson.

I know the window is open, but where do you see the transfers - on BBC football? Or elsewhere.

I use newsnow as my first port of call for rumours with some substance. Then the sky newspapers summary then for total speculation twitter!

RE: 2016/17 - WBA January Transfer Window - HRK - 02-01-2017

I'd expect us to continue our pursuit of Jeff Schlupp. Adds competition to the LB position that is sorely needed but also plays well as a winger.
