Boris's departure is inevitable after Brexit but if this continues it might well speed it up. Why? Because labour as a party have now finally caught up with starmers popularity in the nation. Remember the tories had a 26 point lead 6 months ago.
There is no point in Starmer going for policy at the moment really, it will just be drowned out in all the Covid and Brexit noise. He's best to hold off on that for as long as possible and in the meantime carry on doing what he's doing so well.... Exposing the tories mistakes on both whilst at the same time supporting them in the house - all wrapped in a Union Jack of course.
It might not be anything revolutionary politically but labour finally have someone who is ruthlessly engaged with winning first and foremost. It is what it is.
