29 year-old Norwegian striker Fredrik Brustad has joined the club on a season-long loan deal from Molde FK
The 6’3 frontman has played 20 times for Molde FK this season and featured in their Europa League Qualifying tie away to Zenit last week.
Manager Martin Canning said: ”Fredrik is an excellent addition to the squad. He’s played for top clubs in Sweden and Norway, has been capped by his country and adds height and yet more pace to our frontline. He is predominantly a central striker, where he has a decent goalscoring record throughout his career, but he has also been utilised in wider areas.”
The Manager continued: ”We worked really hard as a squad in pre-season to ensure our fitness levels were high heading into the new season, so to get someone in of Fredrik’s quality – at this stage of the window – who is also midway through their season and up to speed is an added bonus.”
