We are pleased to announce the signing of youngster Aaron Smith from Nottingham Forest.
The Mancunian, who turned 20 in March, is a creative midfielder who signs on at Accies after finishing top goalscorer for Forest in the U23 Premier League.
Giving his first interview to Accies TV, Smith said: ‘’For me, I just want to try and get my name on the team sheet first and foremost. It’s a big stage up here in Scotland and the club have a good track record of bringing through young players.’’
Manager Martin Canning said: ‘’Aaron is one who we think has potential and can develop further in our environment. He’s got good ability, has goals in him from midfield and we’re really looking forward to working with him.’’
