Putin and his illegal war on Ukraine? How to view it objectively after past events?
#61
Yep! Sadly, the perpetrator of this very brief incursion wasn't someone like Putin's jailed political opponent, Navalny, who really should never have returned to Russia after his life-saving medical treatment in Germany a few years ago after the Russian govt's attempt to murder/poison him. It looks like the only way to remove Putin is by some form of violent internal conflict following the indication he is not as all-powerful as assumed by many in Russia.

I must say this is scary stuff although there is probably an element of sabre-rattling TBF! However, it looks like the Ukrainian army is finally making positive inroads into Russian held territory and about time too.

The hated Wagner boss, Prigozhin, killed in a plane crash accident. Not many sympathisers for this horrible individual/killer of people although one has to cynically ask, "Was it really an accident"?

Well it makes a change from, er, jumping(?) from a 10th floor bathroom window. Some of the footage on the BBC (and the link) appears to show the plane in flames/out of control before it crashed.

No more an accident than his recent "challenge" to Putin either. That it took out several other people, including the pilot(s) shows Putin in his real colours.
