Breaking news - Porteous heading to London in a £1.3M move with a sell-on clause attached. I regard this deal as a "snip" for MAFC. I'd also like to know what the thinking was to release one of our best young prospects while reflecting on what our central defensive options are at the mo in terms of age, experience and risk of being injured. Is there a replacement who Hibs have targeted? Anyway, good luck to him - going to a far better footie league and will have to improve and "rise to the challenge" or fail.

Think he should have stayed with us for one more season. He's still on the young side for a CB.
