Johnson wants to get rid of the 5 year fixed term and go back to how it used to be where the PM could call a general election at anytime in 5 years.

Those fixed 5 year terms are becoming almost as short as the calls for once-in-a-lifetime Jock referendums. One of each next year then?

I listened to comments from astounded people in the likes of Northumberland and Berwick-on-Tweed - the "drift" of the conversation was "What a total f###### erse" but most people knew that even way back well before the Dec 2019 GE. The people who gave this guy, and the known unelected anarchist who "sits to his right", a UK govt with such a huge majority really have to take some responsibility for getting this choice of vote massively wrong and landing the country on the brink of a catastrophic situation that could badly affect a generation of people for a long time.

This is a tv channel to be hosted by that fat ####, Andrew Neil, and funded with lotsa money by an American chap/billionaire/past Trump backer named Arnold who I'd classify as a neo libertarian who would like to do away with regulations, laws, taxes etc because that doesn't satisfy the needs of billionaires like him, the biggest land owner in the USA btw!!! The fuckwits in Downing Street can't run a pissup in a brewery.
They can't work out how to send them back to France let alone the country they came from to try make an asylum claim - then again if they did, most of them would possibly get jailed or killed, which is why they are claiming asylum anyway. How the hell are they going to make them go to these countries? I take it that all the current asylum centres in Kent and along the south coast will be needed for a place to stay for lorry drivers waiting for a ferry to Europe come January 1st? It's going to be easier (maybe) to send an asylum seeker to Papua New Guinea than a lorry driver and his load waiting to get customs clearance to Dover.
What the hell did Papua New Guinea do to annoy us so much that our pillocks in Downing Street think it's OK to send them our asylum seekers anyway - and no doubt leave them there
