Europa League - Rennes v Celtic - 0762 - 19-09-2019

This will be an interesting test for the Hoops tonight v a French side that has beaten PSG in the past. I think a solid back line will be uppermost in Lenny's plans for tonight.

FT 1-1 and a hard-fought out draw with neither side "giving any quarter". I think Lenny will be fairly happy with this result in which the Hoops were well worth a draw and Christie did really well in the mid area v skilful, athletic opponents. One slight negative aspect was Mboli being injured - looks like a groin pull but maybe just a "tweak".

Celtic played well and should have won the game. It was a good, open tie as well, enjoyed it.

You can see the different approach Lennon has to these games compared to Rodgers.
